Dr Billah
Baki received a PhD degree from Monash University, Australia. He is involved in teaching (biostatistics), research and supervision of PhD students. The biostatistics subjects that he coordinates have been classified as the Golden Category at Monash University for a consecutive three-year period from 2016 to 2018 by achieving evaluation scores between 4.80 and 4.92 out of 5. He received the Teaching Excellence Award 2016 and also received the Outstanding Teaching Contribution Award 2017 from the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University. He has published 84 journal articles, 30 commissioned reports and 50 conference papers. He has more than 8400 reads and about 2000 citations of his research. He has received highly cited paper awards from the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. He has received five NHMRC research grants (total value AUD 6,443,272). His current main research interest is risk prediction modelling.
